TWO DAY´S MENUS THROUGH EUROPE

1.DAY:

Breakfast:

Today we will get up in Britain. More exactly in Postmouth. Postmouth is in the south of England. At an our´s distance from  London. There is in the cost and there there is the naval army of England. Portsmouth has declined as a naval base in recent years but remains a major dockyard and base for the Royal Navyand Royal Marine Commandos whose Headquarters resides there. Here, in the ”Spinneker Tower” we are going to have a tipycal British breakfast:

Traditionally, people in England have enjoyed a substantial hot meal for breakfast, featuring eggs, bacon, and sausages, accompanied by toast and tea or coffee. These items are sometimes eaten separately on morning rolls. Many other items (for example kedgeree, grilled or fried tomatoes, black pudding or white pudding, baked beans, fried sliced bread, various types of fried potatoes and mushrooms) may be included depending on taste and location. Today, this dish remains popular but is not usually served at breakfast time during the week.

Lunch:

GREECE: (ATHENS)Athens is the capital of greece. Is the oldest country in Europe and because of that many coustoums are spread all over Europe. This is our second place to take a brake and enjoy the typical food.

Meze is a collective name for a variety of small dishes, typically served with wines or anise-flavored liqueurs as ouzo or homemade tsipouro. Orektika is the formal name for appetizers and is often used as a reference to eating aVer imagen en tamaño completo first course of a cuisine other than Greek cuisine. Dips are served with bread loaf or pita bread. In some regions, dried bread (paximadhi) is softened in water.

Dinner:

FRENCH:  (marsselle)

Marselle is in the mediterranean part of france Is a very touristic place and because of that the products are very expensive. To finish the day you are going to have dinner in a terrace overlooking the sea.

A typical menu included: French onion soup, crab-stuffed avocadoes or bouchées à la reine, chicken breasts with white wine and cream sauce, stuffed mushrooms or carottes à la crème, aVer imagen en tamaño completoligot or pommes dauphines, salad, cheese, mousse or éclairs au chocolat, Konakry (a jelly-roll cake with raspberry jam filled with crème pâtissière and pineapple and with an apricot glaze) or cherry clafoutis, and, of course, café after the meal.

2.DAY

Breakfast: (amsterdan)

Netherland: The Dutch typically eat sliced bread with three choices of toppings: dairy products (numerous variations of cheese), a variety of cured and sliced meats, or sweet or semi-sweet products such as jam, syrup (from sugar beets or fruit), honey, Bebogeen (a very sweet caramel topping made from sugar beets), Kokosbrood (a coconut product that is served thinly sliced like sliced cheese; also known as Cocosbread) or peanut butter. Another type of sweet toppings are the chocolate toppings; the Ver imagen en tamaño completoDutch have chocolate toppings in all variations: hagelslag (chocolate sprinkles), chocoladevlokken (chocolate flakes) (both typically Dutch), and chocolate spread. Tea, dripolator coffee, milk, and juice are the most popular breakfast beverages. Breakfast may also include raisin bread.

After a strong  breakfast we are going to have a snakc time in Turky

Ver imagen en tamaño completoSnack TimeTurkish Delights may be the food Turkey is most famous for, but with-in the country it is the snack of simit that you will see everywhere. Simit is best described as a bagel/pretzel combination that is Ver imagen en tamaño completocovered in baked sesame seeds. It is delicious and extremely cheap. All over Turkey you will see “Simitci”, simit sellers, carrying huge trays of simit on top of their heads.

Dinner:

This days dinner is going to be in Lonbardia, Italy. This is in the north part and the capital were we are going to have dinner is Milan.

Ver imagen en tamaño completoItalian food dishes are well known all over the world, but what better place is there to experience classic Italian food than in Italy?  While fine restaurants offer exquisite Italian food menus, the best Italian dishes are generally found in the small family run trattorias around town or (if you are lucky enough to get invited) at someone’s home.

North Italy: Dinner in Italy is usually served at about 8:00pm, after shops and offices have closed and everybody is back home.  Italian dinner dishes may vary somewhat but are generally much lighter than lunches.  A typical Italian dinner menu consists of a simple soup (minestra) followed by a meat dish like spezzatino (stew) or soppressa (a type of salami typical of Northern Italy).  Other classic Italian dishes include baccalà alla vicentina and oso buco. Regardless of what you eat one thing’s for sure, there’s nothing like Italian food

europe in 2009

Now we know…:

what the european commission, pairlament and council are:

European commission:The European Commission embodies and upholds the general interest of the Union and is the driving force in the Union’s institutional system.

European pairlament:The European Parliament is the only directly-elected body of the European Union. The work of the European Parliament is important because in many policy areas, decisions on new European laws are made jointly by Parliament and the Council of Ministers, which represents Member States.

European council: The aim of the Council of Europe is to achieve a greater unity between its members.

Apart from that we have knwon how Ján Figel is. He is a member of the commission responsible for Education, Training, Culture and Youth.

Our opinion is …:

That the project is very big and we aren’t going to take part in that. Apart from that we think that it´s a nice project but it could be dangerous because perhaps they´r going to globalize a lot and the local customs are going to disappeare. They are going to treat all the youth people similar and they have to know that we are different and we need different tipes of education.

Apart of the social and economic reaseons we think tha in the life there are more thigs to study.

This type of project have to be done from smaller asociations to think in what the town they are workin it needs.

The work they are doing is good because if smaller asociations see what in Europe are doing perhaps they will start working in somethin similar.

Is fine to see that europe is doing an effort to boost the creativity and innovation because young people need to be cared about and lisened.
